Class IV Laser

While our Primary purpose is to correct the spine to allow the correct function of the Nervous System, there are some cases where additional services can aid in the healing process. A Class IV Laser helps to decrease acute pain and works on a cellular level to increase the rate of healing in the body. There is nothing more effective at healing our own bodies than a properly functioning nervous system, however, using a class IV laser may ease the pain while the healing process is taking place. The only reason we have a laser in our office is because I personally got amazing results on an acute injury.

resized_300x199_apollodesktopunit.jpg My Story I sprained my ankle playing basketball on a Thursday night. The next day I went to a conference and was on my feet all day. After hobbling around, I decided that I needed to try something to ease the pain on my ankle. After allowing one of the vendors to laser my acutely sprained ankle, I found that the pain was COMPLETELY gone. What's even better, it did not return! With such amazing results, I knew I needed to have one in my office to help others with their injuries. Since implementing laser therapy into our office we have helped patients who thought that they were beyond help. If you or someone you know has chronic pain, we can help.

My Caution I want to caution all readers about pain relief solutions. In some cases there is a process that is causing the pain. I STRONGLY encourage you to FIX THE PROBLEM. If you only cover up the symptom, you may be putting your health at risk. Please use pain relievers of all kinds with caution! Also, ensure you have a full understanding of what is causing the pain before starting any regimen of pain relief.

How do Lasers Work? Laser Therapy uses laser energy to create a therapeutic effect. Research shows the effects improve healing time, pain reduction, increased circulation, and decreased swelling. Specifically:

  • Reduction in pain by releasing endorphins
  • Reduction in inflammation
  • Enhanced lymphatic drainage
  • Release of tight muscles that cause decreased range of motion, chronic pain, and other joint problems
  • Increasing the rate of bone repair

What Conditions Does it Treat?

  • Tennis Elbow
  • Arthritis
  • Sciatica
  • Nerve pain
